IDIS Discovery: Applying the same password to multiple cameras (initial setup)

  1. Download IDIS Discovery from here: https://idisamericas.com/en/product/3055
  2. Unzip and run the program.
  3. Click Lookup > Look Up Devices (LAN).
  4. By default, when you right click a camera and select Remote Setup, the Password Initialization window will appear. Click Cancel on this window.

  5. Click Multiselection, select the required cameras, click Reset then Password Initialization.

  6. On the Password Initialization window:
    • Enter the password you want to set.
    • Provide an email for password recovery. If no email is provided, you will need to physically reset the camera with the button in the future.
    • Click Apply all.
    • Click OK.

  7. Click OK when it is completed.
  8. When you right click a camera and select Remote Setup, you will now be taken to the camera interface.
