1. AI / Functional Enhancements

1.1. Improved AI Search Handling

• Resolved intermittent long delays when stopping AI Search during execution, allowing smoother and more responsive cancellation within AI Search workflows.

1.2. AI Search with ISS recording service in ISS Client

• Enabled AI Search with ISS recording services in IDIS Solution Suite 5.1.0
• User scenario
  • Search & Playback: Operators can search for humans, vehicles, or faces and play the corresponding results with AI Edge Cameras. These search results can be shared with selected users within ISS. Additionally, a PDF report of the search can be saved locally on the ISS client PC.
  • Detailed Playback: To view more footage related to a search result, the operator can click the magnifying-glass icon, which opens the full video playback for that event.
    

2. User interface and experience

2.1 New 16×16 Screen Format

• Added support for a 16×16 (256 channel) layout, delivered as “User Defined Screen Format.”

2.2. Auto Restore After 1×1 Idle Timeout

• After opening 1×1 view, the system returns to the previous live screen format when idle timeout is reached.
• Configuration path:
  • Preference > Screen Format > Restore previous live screen after idle timeout.

2.3. Collapsed Permissions Tree for Large Groups

• Device groups appear collapsed by default to simplify navigation in Device Access Permission configuration.
  

3. Performance Improvements

3.1. Optimization for Layouts Exceeding 64 Cameras

• ISS Client: Updated default Preference > Video Enhancement > Frame Skipping > Applied to All Resolutions
  • Enabled by default with Level 1 as the standard setting.
• IDIS Center: IDIS Center Setup > Video Enhancement

3.2. Internal Decoding Specification Enhanced

• Refined the internal decoding logic for simultaneous processing of 64+ channels.
• Improved stability when switching between large screen formats.

3.3. Frame Copy Minimization via Memory Pool

• Modified the video frame handling process to allocate buffers from a memory pool to reduce heap memory consumption

4. Security Hardening

4.1. Option to Exclude VNC Viewer Installation

• Added installation command: setup.exe /EXCLUDE_VNCVIEWER
• Excluding VNC Viewer also disables DirectNDC to prevent antivirus software from identifying the component as a risk factor.

4.2. CCF Clip Player Security Update

• Updated Clip Player module to remediate known vulnerabilities.
• Strengthened redistributable package integrity.

5. Bugs Fixed

- A-Cut Monitoring Popup: A-Cut now renders correctly when launched from the Monitoring pop-up after window minimization.

- UriProto Playback: Fixed NVR Playback feature not working properly in IDIS VAI NVR Playback.

- Dewarping Afterimage: Fixed an issue where previous dewarping rendering state remained as an afterimage when switching to view modes from 2×3 view in clip launcher playback.

- Multilingual Strings in System Log Search: Resolved non-English text not displaying when searching service system logs in Report.

- Streaming & Monitoring Memory Growth: Corrected continuous heap memory increase in Streaming & Monitoring service when running ISS Client.

- ConfigurationTool: Fixed an issue where running IDIS Center Preference after ISS Client and ISS Setup opened could cause the ConfigurationTool process to terminate unexpectedly.

6. Component / Dependency Updates

– VNC Viewer Version: Updated from 7.15.0.17 → 7.15.1.18.

– WebView2 Version: Updated to v143.0.3650.80.
