IDIS Center: Recorded video playback

  1. Verify the recorder is added to the Site panel.
  2. Click on the Play tab. If it was closed, click System > New Tab > Play.
  3. Click and drag the recorder or specific camera(s) into the Play tab.
  4. A timeline will appear at the bottom of the screen. The default colors for the recording modes is shown below.

  5. Use these buttons to adjust your search.

    • 20250507_168.png Event search / Time lapse search - Toggles between modes.
    • 20250507_169.png Search filter - Sets search conditions.
    • 20250507_170.png Calendar - Select videos from a specific date.
    • 20250507_171.png Go to - Search video from a specific time.
    • 20250507_172.png Additional Menus
    • 20250507_173.png Export - Saves video to a *.exe or *.avi format.
    • 20250507_174.png Bookmark - Allows you to bookmark recorded video to access them quicker in the future.
    • 20250507_175.png Event on play
    • 20250507_176.png Thumbnail search - Shows still images of recorded video during the event in the Play panel.
    • 20250507_177.png Configure Filter
    • 20250507_178.png Step forward / Step backward - Allows you to move frame by frame.
    • 20250507_179.png Play / Stop - Plays or stops the recorded video.
    • 20250507_180.png Jog shuttle - Adjusts the video playback direction and speed.
    • 20250507_181.png Shuttle lock
    •  Play on tab / Pause on tab
