How to connect to RTSP streams on IDIS camera

Envorinment

• DC-XXXX camera series 
• IDIS camera 

Procedure

1. You will need to use VLC to open a network stream. Download VLC from HERE.
2. Click on "Media" and select "Open network stream" 
   
3. Enter the syntax, then click on "Play."
   
4. Enter the "User" and "Password" if not included in the syntex 
   

5. The RTSP stream 1 will display as shown below:

   

IDIS:
rtsp://[username]:[password]@[IP_address]:[rtsp port, 554(default)]/trackID=#

# is from 1~3 for the triple streaming video profiles

Examples:

rtsp://admin:12345678@10.0.1.22:554/trackID=1

rtsp://admin:12345678@10.0.1.22:554/trackID=2

rtsp://admin:12345678@10.0.1.22:554/trackID=3
