How to completely uninstall ConteraVMS (missing modules).

Issue:

The clients install of ConteraVMS is not operating correctly or has missing modules (i.e. Maps).

Resolution:

  1. Uninstall ConteraVMS from Programs and Features.
  2. Delete the below directories.
    • C:\Program Files\Arecont\Contera VMS
    • C:\ProgramData\Arecont\ConteraVMS
      • This is a hidden directory. To un hide it go to Control Panel > File Explorer Options > Show hidden files, folders and drives.
  3. Reinstall ConteraVMS thick client: https://sales.arecontvision.com/software.php
