DR-Series | How to upgrade the firmware

Environment:

• DR-1000 Series 
• DR-2000 Series
• DR-6000 Series
• DR-8000 Series 

Procedure: 

1. Plug in your USB Drive in the front or in the back of the recorder.
   Note: For USB flash memory devices, the NVR supports the FAT32 file format only.
2. Click on the "Setup" icon
   
3. Click System > General.
   
4. Click "Upgrade".
   
5. Click "OK" on the message.
   
6. When the "File Open" prompt appears, select the firmware then click "OK".
   
7. Click "Install".
   
8. Click "Install" to confirm the upgrade.
   
9. It will begin copying the file over.
   
10. The recorder will reboot.
11. An "Upgrade completed" will prompt on the monitor when done.
