Set custom messages for calls

Akuvox outdoor panels allow you to upload customized voice messages for calls, both for ring tone and door opening messages.

To record and upload these messages the following procedure should be performed:

1) Record the audio files

The easiest method to record the audio tracks is to use the freely available audio editing software Audacity.

First of all, the audio track must be set as mono. To do this, within the software, go to Edit --> Preferences --> Devices, and under Channels select 1 (Mono):

After that, the frequency must be selected at 16000 Hz:

Once the audio track is recorded, it must be exported in .wav format and with 16 bit encoding:

It should be noted that the maximum file size must be less than 200 KB.

2) Uploading the audio files to the device

To upload the recorded audio message, the device's web configuration must be accessed. After that, in the Phone --> Voice tab you can choose for which function this message will be used: ringtone, successful door opening tone or failed door opening tone:

Once this process is done, the customized voice message will sound on the device.
