Safire Smart - Adding NVR on Mobile with Safire Smart Max App

Step 1: Download the App

• Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
• Search for Safire Smart Max.
• Download and install the app.

Step 2: Prepare the NVR

1. Access the NVR interface.
2. Click Start → Settings.

3. Go to the Network tab.
4. Select TCP/IP.

5. Navigate to the NAT tab.

Step 3: Add the NVR to the App

You’ll need:

• A. QR Code (visible on the NVR screen)
• B. Security Code (shown near the QR code)
• C. Serial Number of the recorder

🔍 Option A: Add via QR Code

• On the NAT page, locate the QR code.
• Open the Safire Smart Max App on your mobile device.
• Scan QR Code
• Modify Device Name
• Live view

✍️ Option B: Add Manually

1. In the app, choose Manual Add.
2. Enter the following details:
   • Serial Number (visible on the NVR)
   • Device Name (you can customize this)
   • Security Code (same as in QR code section)

NOTE:

 Authorization code:

Starting with Firmware Version 1.4.9, when devices are added to a P2P account using the Security Code method, connecting to the devices via Autonat requires an authorization code. 

This feature serves as an additional security measure and is automatically enabled by default for the administrator user. However, this feature can be enabled and disabled in the following section of the recorder. It is important to note, however, that it only supports one user, who, for security reasons, should be the administrator.
