Remote camera addition to an NVR via Auto Report in Safire Smart

Safire Smart allows remote camera addition through Auto Report mode. This method allows you to add the camera without opening ports on the camera (a 4G router can be used) and opening a single port on the router where the NVR is located.

Camera

In the camera, you must configure the following in the Network-Server section:

• Port 2009: Communication port that must be opened on the NVR router
• Server address: Public IP address of the router where the NVR is located. A DDNS can also be specified.
• ID: ID that the NVR will detect when it detects communication from the camera; it must be different for each camera added in this way.

When this configuration is set in the NVR, in the Auto Report camera addition section, the cameras configured in this way will appear when refreshed.
