NOTE: If you don't have the software yet, read this article first to set it up: How to Set Up Swann Security for PC and Mac

Playback

Open Swann Security software and go to Playback



 

Under Playback:

  1. Make sure you are in the Basic tab
  2. Expand the list by clicking the arrows at the left until you see the channels of the recorder
  3. Select a channel by ticking the checkbox
  4. Pick a date – a marking will show that there's a recording on that date.
  5. Click Search
  6. Click a part of the timeline to play OR 7. Click Play to play the first file

 

Export

If you now wish to download, click the Download icon to see the list of recordings.

A new window will appear:

  1. Select a file by clicking its checkbox
  2. Choose between AVI or MP4 to ensure that the file is playable by most media players
  3. Click Download

Video Saved Path shows where the file was saved. You can click it to open the folder and get the file.
