Description
If a customer wishes to play a live stream on a third party platform, such as YouTube, here are some settings that need to be configured in a Uniview Cameras' web interface.
Step 1
Refer to the Uniview camera web interface under Settings>Video and Audio>Video to ensure that the Uniview camera is using the H.264 video compression format and that u-code is also disabled for all streams

Step 2
Enable camera audio streaming from the camera's web interface at
Settings>Video & Audio>Audio.

Step 3
Disable the camera's RTSP authentication in Settings>Security>Network Security (change RTSP authentication to none)

Step 4: Configure RTMP media streaming in Settings>Security>Network Security
Configure RTMP media streaming in Settings>Settings>Video and Audio>Media Streaming.
Step 4.1
Click the plus sign to add a new stream (primary/secondary/third stream you want to use).
Step 4.2
Change the protocol toRTMP, enter the destination IP provided by the website and
enable Persistent

An example with youtube:
Copy the URL (rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2) and the streaming key (kmhmy7g2-msph-2mz7-84qm) and combine them as: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/kmhm-y7g2-msph-2mz7-84qm

Enter the correct URL in the web interface and click Save to get the RTMP stream
working again
Note: Sometimes the MTU value of the camera is belowSettings>Network>BasicYou need to reduce it to achieve smoother RTMP transmission
