DC-S6xxxxxx | How to direct connect to a DC-S6xxxxx without an NVR

The recommended setup: Camera — PoE400 — NVR (direct connection to an NVR).

Issue:

No LAN activity when connected to a PoE switch: Camera — DA-PI PoE400 — PoE switch.

A workaround is needed to avoid needing an NVR.

Environment:

• DC-S6883WRA, DC-S6683WRA
• DA-PI PoE400
• 802.3bt PoE++ switch | Switch used in this test Planet GSD-504UP
• Non-PoE switch

• Camera — 802.3bt PoE++ switch — network
• Camera — DA-PI PoE400 — non-PoE switch
