Configuring email notification sending with Uniview devices

In many occasions we need to use an email account to receive the notifications that are emitted from the cameras or recorders that we have configured.

It is recommended to use a Gmail account to send notifications. In addition, you must change the following parameters of the google account.

From Settings in the google account

In order to receive these emails properly the following parameters have to be configured from the IP recorder/camera:

From Network -> Email the sending of the notification will be configured.

Sender:

Server Authentication: ON

Username: Email address from which the notification is sent

Password: Password of the email account

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com

SMTP Port: 465

Snapshot Interval: 2s (Attach Image)

Sender: Sender's Name

Sender's Adress: Email address from which the notification is sent

Select Recipient: Recipient 1

Recipient:

Recipient Adress: Destination email (It is recommended to press the Test button to verify that our email account receives a test notification).
