Introduction:

Time-lapse is a creative filming and video editing technique that manipulates how frame rate is captured. In most videos, the frame rate and playback speed are the same. In a time-lapse video, the frame rate is stretched out far more: when played back at average speed, time appears to be sped up.

Video Guide:

Downloading the TimelapseTool here:

Text Guide:

Step1.

Put the video (camera footage) you want to compress into the folder "input".

Step2.

Set parameter in the file "bin/config.ps1" by Notepad.exe (or any other text editor).
When [myFactor] = '0.001', and if the input video is 10000s, you will get a 10000*0.001=10s output video.
Note: This parameter accepts a value between 0.0-1.0 only

Step3.

Click "ClickThisFileToStart.bat" to start the task. Don't forget to type in "Enter" to continue.

Step4.

Wait and you will get a timelapse video.
Note: Both the path and the file name CANNOT contain any symbols or spaces.
