Product Diagram

1. LED indicator. This indicator includes only the POWER indicator. When the indicator light is solid red, it indicates that the device is on.
2. Cable interface.
3. Debug port. Note: The debug port is for debugging use only.
4. Tamper.
5. Wiegand interface.
6. DIP switch.

Interface description

Connect access control devices, tamper controller, door locks and other related output devices (may choose to connect Wiegand card reader) to establish communication.

Installation

Before installing the tamper controller, set the DIP switch and connect it with the cable.

DIP switch description

Refer to the "Product Diagram" for the position of the DIP switch. The description of the DIP switch is shown in the following figure. Numbers 1 to 4 in the figure are the switches, numbered.

As shown in the following figure, the binary number represented by the DIP switch is 0011, which corresponds to decimal address 3.

Note:

• DIP switch positions 1 to 3 are used to set the RS-485 communication address. Position 4 is used for Wiegand mode (OFF: Wiegand input, ON: Wiegand output)
• The DIP address cannot be repeated.

Installing the safe door control unit

Steps

1. Set the DIP switch of the tamper controller according to your access control device requirements.

Note:

The binary DIP code ranges from 0001 to 1111.

2. Drill holes in the wall or other locations according to the installation template.

Note:

The minimum weight of the wall or other locations must be three times the weight of the device.

3. Insert the supplied plastic plug into the drilled hole.

4. insert the cable into the cable socket, and insert the Wiegand cable into the Wiegand interface.

Caution:

If it is necessary to connect the cable from the side of the device, remove the knockout from one side.

5. Align the screw holes on both sides of the device with the sleeve on the wall and insert the supplied screws to secure the device.
