Failure to search for events in a recording on Safire and Hikvision equipment

In some Safire and Hikvision models, it may happen that, when searching the recordings with Safire Control Center or iVMS-4200 by event, such as motion detection, it indicates that no recordings have been found:

The first thing to check is that the event in question is enabled in the equipment:

If the event is occurring, and it is being saved in the equipment, but you are still unable to search for it in the PC program, you should check with the monitor and mouse, in the Storage section, whether the following option is enabled "Save Camera VCA Data"
