Do Not Connect DVR to Your Laptop via an HDMI/VGA Cable

You can’t connect the DVR to your laptop via an HDMI/VGA Cable. For the VGA and HDMI ports of DVRs can only be connected to a separate monitor. Besides, the VGA and HDMI ports of both DVRs and PCs are only used for video output instead of input.
