Annke Vision - How to Set up Email Notifications?(H800 series)

Applies to:  N48PAW/N46PCK/H800

Purpose: You could set up an email alert to receive the motion notification.

Steps:

1. You can use Gmail/ Hotmail/ Yahoo etc. mailboxes to set the email alert function.

2. Log in Google account, go to 'Security', then turn on '2-Step Verification'. Click on 'App Password' to create your App Password (16 digits).

   

   3. Search 'App Password' 

   

   

   

3. Go to the Setting-->Network-->Email and Set up an email alert like the picture below.

    

   Email Address is your Gmail /Hotmail/ Yahoo etc. email address.

   Email Password is your App password (16 digits) from Google

   SMTP Mode is General

   The SMTP server:

   Gmail:  smtp.gmail.com 
   Hotmail/Outlook: smtp.office365.com 
   Yahoo: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

   GMX: mail.gmx.com
   strato: smtp.strato.com 
   163: smtp.163.com
   QQ: smtp.qq.com

    

   The SMTP port:

   Gmail: 587 or 465
   Hotmail/ Outlook: 587 or 465
   Yahoo: 587

   GMX: mail.gmx.com: 25/465
   strato: 45
   163: 25/465/994
   QQ: 165

    

   Tick the SSL/TLS

   Tick the Attached Picture 

   Sender can be any name

   Sender's address is your Gmail /Hotmail/ Yahoo etc. email address.

   Receiver can be any name

   Receiver's address can be your Gmail account or any email you want to receive the email notification

   Tick Apply
   
   
   
   

4. Go to Menu-->Camera--> Event to enable motion detection and set up the detection area.
   
   
5. Go to 'Linkage Action' to enable 'Send Email'.
   
   
   8. Click 'Apply' after the configurations.
