The system can detect image optical signal change. When there is a light change, the camera will be triggered. That is how motion detection works.

It may cause a false alarm or miss some movement if the sensitivity is too high or too low. If it‘s too high, the camera will be triggered frequently. You can turn down the motion detection sensitivity depending on your situation.

Besides, please put the camera in a room where doesn‘t have much sunshine.
