Connect NV-Timecontrol-Wifi to WIFI network #

First, register the equipment to the app by having it connected by a network cable. Once we have it “online” in the app we must enter the remote settings of the equipment:

 

Within the remote settings in the NETWORK -> WIFI section we can choose the network to which we want to connect the equipment:

If the password is correct and the signal is stable in the device, this icon will appear:

Once this icon appears the equipment is already connected to the wifi network and from this moment we can disconnect the equipment from the network cable and register it again in the app through the IP of the wifi network.

When using the external power supply

When using the battery

1. Open the Tuya application on your mobile device.

2. Click on the + icon at the top left.

3. Select the type of device (in this case the video doorbell)

3. Press and hold the reset button until you hear the confirmation tone.

4. Wait a few seconds until the red LED starts flashing

5. If you are not connected to a 2.4 GHZ WiFi network, it will prompt you to change the WiFi access point.

6. When the correct WiFi access point is selected, enter the WiFi access point password

7. Scan the QR code on your mobile device with the camera. Approximately 20cm with the mobile camera, which may need to be repeated several times.

(7a.) If you still have connection problems, try setting the screen to maximum brightness when the camera cannot scan the QR code.

8. When you have heard the confirmation prompt, on your mobile device and press “I have heard a prompt”

When the video doorbell has the connection it will start to connect on your 2.4GHz WiFi network

When the device is added, assign the device to a room and rename the device.

NVS-A6WG Automatic arming/disarming by schedule and calendar from Tuya application #

Note

This requires a mobile phone with the Tuya app installed on it.

1. Open the Tuya application.

2. Go to Settings

3. Select Auto Arm/Disarm

4. Add time

5. Select the time at which the automation should be started

6. Select the days for the same time actions

7. Select the system mode

8. When the mode for the action has been selected, click Done

Click “Add time” to enter another automation

Activate NVS-THERMOSTAT #

The product activates the connection mode when it is plugged in for the first time.

 

If you have exceeded the switch-on mode time, you can reactivate it as described in the manual:

The side button on the WiFi HUB has two push buttons. One opens and closes the boiler contact relay, with a characteristic “clack” sound. The other button is the configuration button. Long press this configuration button for more than 5 seconds to activate the connection mode.

NVS-IPVD1B – It does not start up with 8~24V AC power supply – SOLUTION #

If the NVS-IPVD1B is connected by 8~24V AC and doesn’t start, follow the the instructions below:

(Be careful, use the adapter)

Remove the 4 screws and lift the backplate carefully.

 

Caution! Lift the two contact points with CAREFULNESS without breaking them.

Maximum 2 or 3 millimeters, no need to lift much.

 

How to connect a wired sensor to the NVS-A6WG #

This control panel has 4 wired zones:

The connection would be as follows:

The cabled sensors need a four wire cable, but since in fact the normal and the negative are the same, we will only use three wires.

– Two of them will go the 1st and the 6th sensor supply

– Make a bridge wire, marked on the picture as “B”

– And the zones are from 2 to 5: in the example we picked the zone 2 to connect it to the sensor.

How to activate and use the NVS-A6WG’s wired zones #

The kit has 4 zones, which are defined by connecting the GND pin and the zone pin; it is also possible to power the sensor at 12v by connecting the positive to VDC and the negative to GND.

From the app you can enable and configure these zones, with a simple click on the section Detectors/Accessories –> Wired Detectors

Can the NVS-A6WG be connected to the internet via the SIM card? #

No, the SIM card does not support mobile data, it is only used to make calls and send SMS.

Since two-way audio is not activated by default on this product, it must be activated by following the simple procedure explained below.
